About Us

Demo (he/him) has been a lifelong gamer. His passion for table top role playing games started in early high school with his friends’ dad as the gamemaster. From there, his experience grew when he became a lifelong attendee of Kubla Con, a local gaming convention in South San Francisco. There, he learned the ins and outs of role playing, the rules of many different systems, how different gamemasters run their tables, and how to become a team amongst strangers. Over the 20 years of experience, he has played and/or GM’d for many systems from GURPS to Daggerheart, from the big names like D&D and Pathfinder, to the small Kickstarter publishers like Shattered, Avatar Legends, Die; and many, many more.

Through his passion for story telling, role playing, and combat strategy, Demo shares his love of imaginative gaming with all who sit at the table with him.

Looking for a private game or a birthday party? Well, I do those!

I can write a custom game based on a theme or a favorite media, or I can bring one of my personal written stories.

Custom games can be written for between 2 and 4 hours long with a max of 6 kids.

Jay Africa (he/him) is a Bay Area Game Designer and professional Game Master. He’s written adventures for Wizards of the Coast, West Coast Adventurers Guild, and was on the writing team for the Carbon Grey RPG. He’s a regular on Happy Jacks RPG Network and has streamed with the Saving Throw Show, Geek & Sundry, and other Actual Plays. Jay was the recipient of the 2023 NJ Web Fest Best Player Character Performance (Actual Play Video) award for his character work on The Unsung Tales: A One Ring AP with Happy Jacks RPG Network. When he isn’t running games, Jay enjoys visiting museums, exploring the Bay Area, and sharing life experiences with his two cool kids. Roll Initiative!
